Participants will understand the regulations that govern the storage and handling of dangerous goods and hazardous substances. Additionally participants will be able to utilize a safety data sheet to effectively address spills response, first aid, storage and segregation requirements.
DURATION & COST
Dangerous goods awareness training can be undertaken in 4 hours for a group of 12 people. We need a room capable of seating the participants comfortably. The price per training session is $499.00.

The Australian Code for Transport of Dangerous Goods indicates – anyone who is involved in the transportation, handling and storage of dangerous goods is required to have appropriate training. Our Dangerous Goods Awareness course is run at your site in Perth or any remote or rural site and is intended for any persons working in the transport, warehousing, storage or distribution industries who may handle dangerous goods and/or hazardous substances. Perth Fire aims to meet the requirements laid out in Division 3, Clause 22 of the Australian Dangerous Goods Code.
We recommend that this Dangerous Goods Awareness course be undertaken every 2 years or whenever there is a requirement (staff or procedural changes).
